From 4th to 8th of October 2021 five day training program for artists, curators and local coordinators from They: Live project, was organized and hosted by affiliated partner of the project Institute for Art in Context (UDK) in Berlin.
Program offerad an overview of conceptual tools and best practice examples, a framework on how to develop participatory and collaborative artistic interventions. With lectures, artist talks and workshops as well as excursions to Berlin socio-cultural institutions, the program covered the following topics: representation issues and participatory artistic practices, strategies and methods for participative and collaborative artistic work and for community building, artistic experiments in public, social and media space, artistic research vs. field research, alternative narratives, and culture of memory.
